Agnes R. (Voytek) Frost

Agnes Rose (Voytek) Frost, age 88, of Miller Farm peacefully went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 with her loving family by her side.

Agnes was born on June 9, 1930 in Miller Farm, PA to the late Casper and Rosalia (Kassa) Voytek.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years:  Wallace R. Frost

4 brothers:  Andrew, Joseph, Frank, and Albert Voytek.

Agnes is survived by her loving children:

Wallace J. Frost and his wife Terri - Miller Farm, PA

Roseanne Thomas and her husband Eugene - Flatwoods, PA

Frank E. Frost and his wife Cathy - Miller Farm, PA

7 grandchildren:  Jennifer Pindrock and her husband Joseph;  Wally Frost and his wife Heather; Jeff Frost and his wife Danielle; Nicole Thompson and her husband Harold with whom she resided;  Lisa Hostetler and her husband Brian; Garrett Frost and Miranda Frost

12 great-grandchildren:  Joey, Jenna, and Jocelyn Pindrock; Gracie, Maddie, Chloe, and Bailey Thompson; Eva and Beau Frost; Gavin, Austin, and Delilah Frost.

3 sisters:  Helen Pollick;  Catherine Shimshock who lived with her for the last 19 years; and Justine Hadenak

Brother:  Steven Voytek and his wife Josephine

Sisters-in-law:  Erma Voytek, Nancy Mathias, Nancy Frost, and Joan Voytek

Several nieces and nephews.

Agnes was a member of the former St. Procopius RC Church of New Salem, PA until its closing and was currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church of Footedale, PA

She was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake.  Agnes was always worried about taking care of others, especially making sure that everyone was fed.  She also enjoyed gardening and spending time outside with her family, especially on her patio and many trips to their camp in Venango County.

The family would like to thank her caregivers from Amedisys, especially Mallory, Bobbie Jo, and Lisa.

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA on Friday from 2-8PM and on Saturday until 10:30AM where a Prayer Service will be held followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church - Footedale, PA with the Rev. Fr. William G. Berkey as celebrant.  

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
