Daniel J. Bogol

Daniel J. "DJ" Bogol, age 44, of Merrittstown, PA died on Monday, July 15, 2019 after succumbing to Metastatic Cancer in West Penn Hospital.

He was born on August 31, 1974 in Brownsville, PA son of Linda (Christner) and the late Daniel E. Bogol.

He was an avid artist, excelling in his drawing.

Besides his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother Lorraine Christner; and cousin, Angie Givens.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Bogol; his brother, Jody R. Bogol; his sister, Jessica Sphar and husband Josh; his son, Gregory Bogol Matty; his grandfather, Raymond F. Christner; also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Dearth Funeral Home, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, PA 15468 on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 5-7 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 7 PM. Contributions in his memory to assist with funeral expenses can be sent to the funeral home. www.dearthfh.com.
