Marilyn Lillian (Burton) Hillen

Marilyn Lillian Burton Hillen, age 75 of Tower Hill #2, PA went to be with the Lord and her loving husband James "Sonny" Hillen and her son Michael on Thursday, November 28, 2019. She was born on October 9, 1944 in Cheverly, MD to the late John H. Burton, Sr. and Helen Maclin Burton. Marilyn was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church. She loved people, playing bingo, gardening and to play tricks on her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She graduated from Southern Junior Senior High Class of 1962 and California University of Pennsylvania Class of 1982 with Degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She is survived by four children, James E. Hillen, III and wife Diane, Brian H. Hillen and wife Lee Ann, Mary L. Hillen Malinky and husband Jerry, Nancy L. Hillen Kenney and husband Brian; twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill St. New Salem, Pa on Monday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday in the Hopewell United Presbyterian Church, 400 Hopewell Rd. Brownsville, PA from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM the hour of service with the Rev. Randy Costolo officiating.  Interment in Acklin Cemetery.
