Robert Wayne (Bob) Arnold

Robert W. "Bob" Arnold, age 83, of McClellandtown, PA passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born on December 18, 1935 in German Twp., PA

Son of the late Jesse Arnold, Sr. and Ruth (Huffman) Arnold

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and 1 sister:

Jesse Arnold, Jr., Alvin Arnold, Darwin Arnold, Delbert Arnold, Mildred (Arnold) Stelfox and her husband, Robert Stelfox.

Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years:  Patricia (Riffle) Arnold, whom he loved and cared for dearly.

4 children:  Saunie Jones and husband Roger - Smithfield, PA

                    Robby Arnold and wife Mary - McClellandtown, PA

                    Audra Kenney and husband Robert - Masontown, PA

                    Ryan Arnold and wife Kara - McClellandtown, PA

8 grandchildren:  Shawna (Fred) Roberts, Keith (Breanne) Chapley, Erica Arnold, Megan (Mark) Barton, Brandon Kenney, Alex Arnold, Haylee Arnold, and Nikki Costa.

10 great-grandchildren

Sister:  Patricia (Arnold) Cumberland and husband Floyd - McClellandtown, PA

2 sisters-in-law:  Mary Ann (Delbert) Arnold - Masontown, PA

                              Colleen (Darwin) Arnold - Uniontown, PA

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was Presbyterian by Faith.  He was owner and operator of Arnold's Service Station on Route 21 in McClellandtown, PA for over 40 years, and which his son, Robby Arnold still runs today.  He retired as a German Township Supervisor of 12 years and also worked as the German Township Auditor.

Robert enjoyed playing golf with his brothers, his sons, Robby and Ryan, nephews, his grandsons, Brandon and Alex, and his many friends.

He loved mowing his grass and other people's grass as well and keeping his yard and flowers looking immaculate.  He was an avid sports fan, especially of baseball and greatly enjoyed watching his grandsons and great-grandsons play baseball.

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA, Tuesday, Ocotber 15th from 2-4 and 6-9PM and on Wednesday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM where a Funeral Service will be held with Rev. Andy Miles officiating.  Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery - McClellandtown, PA.
