Barbara Rae (Sigwalt) Dubovich

Barbara Rae Dubovich, age 80, of Republic, PA passed away on Friday, October 6th, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 8th, 1943 in Uniontown, PA

Daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Lewis) Sigwalt.

Barbara was a member of The First Christian Church of Republic, PA and was also employed there as the church secretary. She was also employed in the cafeteria department of various schools within the Brownsville Area School District.

She greatly enjoyed going on the church van trips.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Frank Edward Dubovich

Barbara is survived by her three children:

David E. Dubovich and his wife Cynthia – Hutchinson, KS

Terry A. Dubovich – Republic, PA

Tracie L. Ryberg and husband Pete – Westminster, MD

two grandchildren: Brock Thomas Ryberg and Jake Tyler Ryberg

brother: Robert Sigwalt

aunt: Delores Alekson

Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA on Sunday evening from 6-8PM. Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at The First Christian Church of Republic 183 Republic Road Republic, PA15475 with The Rev. Scott Cooper and also her son, Rev. David E. Dubovich as officiants. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Barbara's name to The First Christian Church of Republic.
