Cecelia Denise Mullen Kotyuha, Age 85 of Masontown, PA passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Uniontown Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 9, 1937 in Orient, PA to the late Peter J. and Veronica Ksenzak Mullen. She loved being around her family and was an avid baker who loved making cookies for her children and grandchildren. She was always baking for the church bake sales and always had requests for her cookies and cakes. Cele was a member of Ethnic Craft Club at St. John's Byzantine Church. She was well known for her exquisite embroidery work. She had been embroidering Easter basket covers for over ten years and has made well over 100 covers. She was kind, caring, and loving. Never hesitating to give whatever she could to others. She loved God, her family, and friends deeply In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, George Kotyuha; infant twin daughters; infant brother, Thomas; brother, Joseph; sisters, Kay, Frances, Veronica, Mary, Eileen and Jane; and a granddaughter, Molly. Cecelia is survived by her children, Gregory Kotyuha of Jefferson, PA, George Kotyuha, Jr. (Cindy) of Smock, PA, Nadine Morgan (Robert) of Smock, PA, Kimberly Walt (Paul) of Uniontown, PA, Andrea Lehman (Scot) of Uledi, PA and Cheryl Kotyuha and fiancée Ian Kelly of Fairchance, PA; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Dearth Funeral Home, 35 South Mill St., New Salem, PA on Friday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM. A panachida service will be held on Saturday at 9:15AM in the funeral home followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA with the Rev. Fr. Vasyl Symyon as celebrant. Interment in Mt Macrina Cemetery. A parastas service will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. www.dearthfh.com
