Doris June (Higinbotham) Knox

Doris June (Higinbotham) Knox, age 95, of Grindstone, PA passed away in St. Mary's, Georgia on Friday, October 20, 2023.

She was born on August 16, 1928 to the late Samuel Higinbotham and Lucy (Ashcraft) Higinbotham.

Doris loved quilting, cooking, baking, and canning. She was the oldest member of The Uniontown Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years on May 1, 2018, Glenn Knox

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA on Friday from 2-8PM and on Saturday from 10-11AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM with Pastor Edwin Moore Officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.
