Gwendolyn Gaye (Linderman) Wright

Gwendolyn Gaye (Linderman) Wright, age 93, of Allison #2, PA passed away on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was born on December 11th, 1930 in Perryopolis, PA

Daughter of the late Arnold E. and Mayola (McManus) Linderman.

Gaye was a member of The Pleasant View Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder.  She was also a member of The Order of The Eastern Star #205 of Monessen and The Penn State Grange.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband:  Duane R. Wright

son-in-law:  Bill H. Hickle

sister-in-law:  Evelyn Bellovich

Gaye is survived by her three children:

Duane L. (Marcy) Wright – Washington, PA

Dale A. (Tammy) Wright – Tower Hill, PA

Denise Hickle – Lemont Furnace, PA

four grandchildren:  Jobie (Leanna) Wright; Gerald Dale (Jen) Brumley; Danielle Gaye Brumley; D.J. Clark

five great-grandchildren:  Chloe M. Wright; Martyna Brumley; Olivia Brumley-Johnson and her son, Makahi; Isabella Paschke; and Willow Hernandez

In honoring her wishes, private family visitation and funeral services were held at Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA.  Her Pastor, Rev. Laura Blank officiated her funeral service.  Entombment was held at LaFayette Memorial Park.

The family has asked that donations be made in Gaye's name to:  The Pleasant View Presbyterian Church 533 Royal Road Smock, PA 15480.
