Hazel Arlene (Barnes) Moore

Hazel Arlene (Barnes) Moore age 92, formerly of Uniontown, PA, peacefully passed away at Elison Assisted Living Facility in Marietta, Ohio with her family by her side on January 27, 2024.

Arlene was a retired secretary of The Third Presbyterian Church after 25 years of service. She was a devoted choir member and enjoyed bowling in the church league with her late husband Irvin, and the fellowship that it provided. After retirement she volunteered with Amedisys hospice.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Donna Linderman and her son Richard Moore and wife Mona (Richardson); seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Friends will be received at The Dearth Funeral Home, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem PA 15468 on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10 AM until the Service at 12:00 Noon, with The Reverend Laura Blank officiating. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family wishes to extend their gratefulness for the loving care given to Arlene by the staff of Elison Assisted Living/Memory Care for the past eight years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to The Amedisys Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
