Leslie Allison Walters, Jr. “ Junior” “The Garbage Man” passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019.

He was born on March 9, 1952 in Uniontown, PA

Son of the late Leslie Allison and Ablene (Leydig) Walters, Sr.

Junior was a member of The Catholic War Veterans, The American Legion, and The North Union VFW.

He was employed as a Sanitation Worker and was a very loyal employee since the age of 17. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents

His daughter: Leslie Ritchel

1 Brother: Raymond Eugene

3 Sisters: Phyllis, Faye, and Peggy

He is survived by his brother: “Sonny” Walters

Grandchildren: Brenden, Cara, Kelsey, Hope, & Mel, Jr.

Longtime Companion: Shelly Minnick

Step-son: Mel Minnick

Several nieces and nephews

And Many Many Friends too numerous to name.

A special thank you to his good friend and neighbor “Hammer” who had been a Godsend in his last days.
