Mary Elizabeth (Greenwood) Salanick

Mary Elizabeth Salanick, age 89, of Uniontown, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 9th, 2023.

She was born on October 3rd, 1934 in Redstone Township, PA.

Daughter of the late Thomas Greenwood and Mary Medvid Greenwood.

Mary was retired, but has worked for The Uniontown Country Club for many years.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Nicholas Salanick

sister: Nellie Hopwood.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter:

Michael Salanick and wife Ann – Hopwood, PA

Mark Salanick and wife Susan – Uniontown, PA

Kimberly Salanick – McClellandtown, PA

six grandchildren: Michael Salanick, Jr. - Gainesville, VA; Steven Salanick – Robinson, PA; Niccole Drew – McClellandtown, PA; Alexa Drew – McClellandtown, PA; Shera Salanick – Newport, VA; and Ashley Salanick – Newport, VA

thirteen great-grandchildren

two brothers: Thomas Greenwood and Frank Greenwood

four sisters: Joan Winklevous, Dorothy Lewis, Charlotte Barton, and Cathy Furlong

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
