Morgan D. Chalfant, Sr., age 95, of New Salem and Uniontown, PA died Saturday, April 20th, 2024 in The Uniontown Hospital.

He was born on August 20th, 1928 in Menallen Twp., PA

Morgan was the son of the late Joseph Morgan and Mabel Mae (Barnt) Chalfant.

He was a member of The Pleasant View Presbyterian Church.

Morgan is survived by his sons: Morgan (Gina) and Robert Chalfant

granddaughter: Vanessa Chalfant

sister: Mary Kathryn Peroni

He was preceded in death by his wife: Anna Mae (Myden) Chalfant

two brothers: Arthur and Floyd Chalfant

There will be no public visitation or funeral service.

Private interment for his family only will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA.
