Robert (Bob) "BZ" Ziots, Sr., age 87, of Newboro, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Thuirsday, August 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 28, 1932 in Newboro, PA
Son of the late Louis and Nellie (Barlow) Ziots
Bob attended the former St. Procopius School.
He was a Veteran of The Korean Conflict serving with The United States Armed Forces. He was involved in the Military with Radio Construction, Repair Technical Training, and Ordinance Automotive School.
Bob was formerly employed with Edenfield Bus Lines as a Mechanic and Bus Driver. He was also employed with Fruehauf Corporation as a painter and lineman and Hillman Barge Company (Trinity Industries) as a welder, retiring in 1993.
He was the First head coach of the Newboro Little League Team. Bob was a lifetime member of The Newboro Indians Organization, Fairbank Rod and Gun Club, and The N.R.A.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Pamela Jo Ziots
3 brothers: Louis "Butsy" Ziots, Carl Ziots, and Ed "Chubby" Ziots
Bob was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years: Gloria Jean (Fisher) Ziots

2 sons: Robert Ziots, Jr. and wife Kay Lynn
Joseph Ziots and spouse James Keller
Special nephew: Bill Priest and wife Brenda
grandchildren: Jill Pavlicko, Lauren Pavlicko, John David Pavlicko and wife Courtney, Amie Ziots and friend Liz, Bobby Ziots, II and fiance Haley
great-grandchildren: Brody Pavlicko, Brayden Ziots, Ava Ziots, and Carsyn Ziots.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Private Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of The Dearth Funeral Home of New Salem, PA.
