Susan Marie (Wallen) Carpeal

Susan Marie “Susie” Carpeal, age 74, of Smock, PA passed away on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 in The WVU – Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 12th, 1949 in Sharples, WV

Daughter of the late Robert Ezra and V. Maxine (Rice) Wallen

Susie was preceded in death by her sister: Judith Lynn Wallen

Susie is survived by her husband of 54 years: Ronald J. Carpeal

daughter: Jaime S. Carpeal-McKenzie and husband Cristin

son: Joshua J. Carpeal and wife Deanna

three grandchildren: Kadin Mikel McKenzie, Maxine Marie McKenzie, and T.J. Carpeal

sister: Kathy Hylton and husband Wayne and their daughter, Carly Lynn Stiger

her dog: Hunter

Friends will be received in The Dearth Funeral Home 35 South Mill Street New Salem, PA on Friday, December 29th from 1-3PM and from 5-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday evening at 7PM.

Burial will take place on Saturday at The Rice Family Cemetery in Webster Springs, West Virginia.
